PICK A COLOR, ANY COLOR

Updated: Mar 26, 2020

One of my favorite fashion statements is a monochromatic look. There is something so chic and classic about wearing a single color or palette head to toe. Monochromatic looks are figure flattering too! The single color lengthens and slims the body; causing the eye to travel up and down continuously, without breaking up your silhouette.

Building a monochromatic outfit is simple; choose a color family. It's no secret I love pink or any bright color, but vibrant hues might not be your thing. Neutral, monochromatic looks are equally as elegant (if not more so) and especially timeless.

I have put together a few single hue outfits to rouse your creativity and inspire your own personal style. I predict you have all the pieces you need to create a chic, monochromatic ensemble in your closet right now! Try this approach with other styles too! Think flowy boho skirt with white tank and simple white sandals; or create and edgy look with black leather pants, a black silk blouse and black wool blazer. Have fun and take risks!

If you're not quite ready to wear one color from head to toe; try adding a vest or jacket in a similar or complimentary hue to break up the outfit.
