I think it's safe to say that Ellen DeGeneres is pretty cool. She's funny, she's got moves, she's family oriented, and she genuinely cares about people and the world!

As you can imagine, I was pretty ecstatic ( and in a bit of shock) when the

Ellen DeGeneres team & their BE KIND. by ellen subscription box campaign reached out to me. I couldn't believe they chose me to be one of the first to share it with you!

I was still skeptical that this was all a dream until the hefty, yellow floral box arrived with giant BE KIND. by ellen branding. Even the soft colors, chosen by Ellen, were exciting.

I opened the box to find a hand written note addressed to me with "ellen, the ellen degeneres show" printed on the front. Yes, I geeked out, again! The note explained that each item had been hand picked by Ellen herself, and "the brands she selected all do something kind for the world!" Not only is this box full of beautiful, high quality products; the companies are trying to make a difference in the world too!

The first item to catch my eye, literally, were the DIFF EYEWEAR Cruz Aviator sunglasses in gold. Y'all, I haven't take these things off my face!

But anyway, for every pair of glasses included in the box, DIFF will help provide sight to those in need, through eye exams, glasses, surgery or medicine. Let me tell you, as someone who can't see a thing without contacts, this is HUGE.

All of the sudden, though, I got a whiff of deep, exotic spices, reminding me of curry and luxurious silks. Dark fuchsia, deep blue, and metallic gold flashed though my mind.
